Angels Foundation Organization Walks in Light

Founded in 2014 with a simple mission to address, fight and alleviate poverty, sickness and hunger among the less privileged, disabled, poor and rejected in our society.
Angels Foundation is an organization with a desire to cause a revolution that grooms positive and determined young minds who will take on the world, become ambassadors of peace and love, and have influences thus ultimately making a difference in their communities. The proof is revealed within the work they have carried out despite the challenges in their quest of helping the needy. Established in the year of 2014, Angel’s Foundation started their operations in 2015.
A brainchild of Edmore Munyoro, Angels Foundation, a God-fearing non-profit organization formed with a mandate to transform and cause paradigm shift in the way people think and view themselves. Particularly  in marginalized and poor communities, where people look down on themselves thinking they are not good enough and cannot achieve their dreams because of their background and challenges they face daily.
Edmore was inspired to assist the less privileged, poor and rejected in society, he initially tried in vain to register in 2011 due to exhorting registration fees. He then pursued a business in branding as a way to fundraise for the registration fee of the organization. Faced with financial challenges Edmore continued to strive for his passion of doing charity work. In November 2014, he decided to close up the branding business and pursue his passion, the feeling that gave him satisfaction and fulfillment.
Without resources and finances to register, Edmore worked on setting up the organization regardless of the situation at hand having faith that God would make a way. His friends Kudzai Tigere, Farie Doma, Lance Mutsokoti, Anesu Chinodya, Calvin Patsika, Clifford Chabikwa, Irene Kusano, Maudy Nhuta and Failess Dapi joined in making a big impact in the growth and expansion of the organization. As a team sharing the same values, they already began donating foodstuffs, blankets and clothes to two homes namely Maunganidze and Danai children’s home despite being unregistered organization. Successfully the organization registered in October 2015 under deed of trust no. MA1246/15 in accordance with the laws of ZIMBABWE.

 Recently, the organization began their donation season that runs from June to December annually, targeting to about 500 people by end of year. They will be donating to three major homes namely orphanages, child-headed families and elderly people’s homes. In their past donation activities, they have donated to Maunganidze, Danai and Tose Respite children’s homes making a total of 160 people assisted ,children and adults . They also set up community service events at Tose Respite and Kasipiti children’s homes. The organization hosted a kitchen soup event in celebration of the day of the African Child that fed homeless children in the Harare Central Business District. They also organized Christmas parties at Munganidze children's home and Bumudzo elderly people home in December 2015 respectively

Supported by Altfin Medical Aid Scheme, well-wishers and individual donors Angels Foundation team's motive is to source for more funds and resources that enable them to continue their work. They believe in blending emotional outreach with deep-rooted long lasting donor engagement. Also they encourage people to participate saying ‘’we rise by lifting others” in their fundraising events and activities. The organization welcomes all those who would like to donate in any form and to become volunteers by joining them.
In future, Angels Foundation's organizational goal is to be a nationwide charity provider for the less privileged, defend the cause of the poor and the parentless; rescue the poor and needy, having started with Harare and Chitungwiza. They are also looking for homes that are in dire need where no help has been given.
